The book is beautifully written and illustrated, and it includes many helpful historical tables and timelines.
Honorable mention goes to Terry L. White, of the Pilgrim Congregational UCC in Cleveland, Ohio, recently celebrating their 150th anniversary With Doors Open Wide is an exuberant and colorful book, full of important history about Congregationalism in the Midwest.
